We, Ilocanos, are known for our warm and genuine hospitality when visitors come at our home. This trait shines brightly as we prepare to host the Palarong Pambansa 2025 in Ilocos Norte. As the host province, we have dedicated ourselves in showcasing the best of Ilocano culture and ensuring that every delegate from different regions feels comfortable and welcomed. From homely accommodations to well-maintained billeting schools, all people involved have worked tirelessly to provide a safe and hospitable environment for all participants especially the athletes. Our meticulous attention to every detail reflects our pride in presenting our province Ilocos Norte as a perfect venue for this grand sporting event.

One of the highlights of Ilocanos’ hospitality is our culinary offerings, which are deeply rooted in local traditions. Delegates are treated to authentic Ilocano foods complemented by a variety of finger foods. This focus on regional flavors not only satisfies taste buds but also offers a cultural immersion that helps delegates appreciate Ilocano heritage through their palate. The warm reception is further enhanced by lively cultural and modern performances during welcome parties held by each region in their respective billeting school, creating a festive and inclusive atmosphere.

Apart from the hospitality in accommodations and food, the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte organized free tours around the province on May 28 and will run until May 30, with routes covering both the north and the south zones of the province. Two shuttles will be available per zone. Delegates are given free, guided trips to explore historical sites, natural wonders, and local markets, offering a deeper understanding of Ilocano culture and pride. These tours showcase the beauty of places like the white sand beaches of Pagudpud, the Paoay Church, known for its Spanish colonial architecture, and the stunning windmills of Bangui, and many tourist attractions. Such experiences foster camaraderie and leave lasting memories, making the hosting of Palarong Pambansa 2025 a truly enriching occasion to all delegates.
