Coaches, officials gear up for 2025 Palarong Pambansa Softball Refresher Course

With the 65thPalarong Pambansacommencing on May 24, 2025, in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, the Department of Education (DepEd) has initiated a comprehensive refresher course for softball coaches and technical officials at Ilocos Norte Agricultural College and Gabaldon Elementary School, May 19.

This training aimed to ensure that all personnel are well-versed in the latest rules and regulations, fostering a fair and competitive environment for the student-athletes.

The refresher course is led by renowned and equipped technical officials as well as the tournament managers around the country. It is designed to update coaches and officials on the current standards and best practices in softball. Sessions cover a range of topics, including: Updated Softball Rules, Umpiring Techniques, Coaching Strategies, and Safety Protocols.

DepEd’s initiative underscores its commitment in providing a high-quality sporting experience for all participants. By equipping coaches and officials with the necessary knowledge and skills, the department aims to uphold the integrity of the games and promote the development of young athletes across the country.
